Instagram is ALL about visuals, which is why high quality images should be a no brainer when using this social media platform.

Profile Photo

As with some other social media platforms, the profile photo is a circle that shows up next to all of your posts and at the top left of your profile page. For businesses, it is the best practice to use your company logo here so all of your photos are associated with your brand.

These is no option to ad a cover photo on Instagram any longer.  This option was removed back in 2015.

However, Instagram does have the ability to upload portrait and landscape-oriented photos and videos. To ensure images look sharp across all devices with high-resolution displays, Instagram supports images at a higher resolution (up to a 1080-pixel width).

Bonus Tip: This is a great place to show your behind-the-scenes shenanigans at your business and obviously show the process of creating your products and customers using your products.
