indexWe have just been introduced to Instagrams new ‘stories’, which is pretty much exactly like Snapchat. Instagrams new thing is adding a picture or video that only lasts for 24 hours. You can draw on it, write captions and see who has viewed your story, just like Snapchat!

Instagrams purpose of this was to get users to post more casually. This new feature is super easy to use, the stories are right at the top of your homepage. You can tell if its a new story if it has a rainbow colored circle around it. There is a new button at the top right of Instagrams homepage, which is a plus sign with a circle around it that allows you to post your own story. Similar to Snapchat, you can swipe right on the screen to skip to the next story. The only differences between Instagram and Snapchats ‘stories’ is that Instagram doesn’t allow you to tap and skip to the next post, and it allows you to post pictures and videos from your camera roll that have only been taken in the last 24 hours.
