Jo Sasso has spent more than two decades turning ambitious ideas into tangible results—without breaking a sweat, missing a deadline, or running out of coffee. As Creative Project Coordinator at 1-Stop Design Shop, Jo is the operational heartbeat behind the creative process. She thrives in the space where ideas, people, timelines, and expectations collide, bringing order to complexity while keeping teams motivated and projects moving forward. Whether she’s coordinating cross-functional teams, building systems that keep a creative studio running smoothly, or solving a problem before anyone else realizes it exists, Jo approaches every challenge with calm authority and contagious enthusiasm.
Before joining 1-Stop, Jo built an impressive career managing high-volume creative production and large teams across multiple industries. Most recently, she served as Senior Project Manager and Producer at Straub Collaborative, a digital content production agency where she oversaw complex production schedules, managed client relationships, and coordinated large creative teams to deliver projects on time and on budget. Her portfolio included major national brands such as Puma, FootJoy, and Titleist, and she played a key role in managing everything from pre-production planning to studio scheduling and client communication. Along the way, she also helped train new project managers, developed internal documentation and workflow standards, and continuously refined processes to improve efficiency and collaboration across teams.
Jo’s career path reflects a rare combination of leadership, operational expertise, and people-first management. Earlier roles in retail leadership and territory management saw her overseeing large teams, managing hundreds of accounts, and building strong client and partner relationships across multiple markets. These experiences sharpened her ability to juggle competing priorities, guide teams through challenges, and maintain a steady focus on results—even in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
At 1-Stop, Jo brings all of that experience together to help keep the creative engine running. She has an instinct for anticipating what a project needs before anyone else asks, and she’s the person in the room who already has a plan B—and C—before the meeting ends. Her strengths in communication, delegation, and organization allow creative teams to focus on doing their best work while she ensures timelines, resources, and details stay perfectly aligned.
Off the clock, Jo’s energy is just as vibrant. You’ll often find her front row at a concert, deep into an audiobook, producing or listening to podcasts, or hosting a table full of great food and even better conversation. She’s also known for melting instantly over someone’s pet—especially if it’s fluffy.
Things she loves: Concerts, audiobooks, cuddly furry pets, podcast production, and sharing a great meal with friends.
Things she doesn’t like: Many kinds of bugs, spam calls, burnt coffee, mushrooms, and people who don’t clean the snow off their car before driving.
